A cancer diagnosis can profoundly impact the entire family, particularly children. We understand that communicating this news to a child can be especially challenging. To assist families during these tough times, we’ve developed a new resource aimed at helping adults talk to children about a loved one's cancer.

The Potter’s House IDD Outreach is designed to serve, empower, and engage individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), as well as their families and caregivers. We believe every person is made in the image of God and has a unique place, purpose, and calling in His Kingdom. Through meaningful connection, support, and opportunities for growth, we seek to foster belonging, independence, and purpose. Our programs and services include: Segmented support groups for Moms, Dads, Siblings, and Caregivers Social integration and community outreach opportunities Field trips and recreational activities Arts and crafts Leadership development Job skills and workforce training Entrepreneurial development Caregiver support and resources Our goal is to create an inclusive community where individuals with IDD and their families feel valued, supported, equipped, and empowered to thrive.
